Current State/ Future State: Master Bedroom

I have another current state/ future state for you: our master bedroom. It's one of my favorite rooms in our house. The ceiling, number of windows, and size make me so happy. Aside from adding screen windows to the double doors and painting the walls with a fresh coat of white-ish paint (there are two different colors for some odd reason!), there is nothing that actually NEEDS done. I have a few ideas for things that would be nice though, of course! 

Current State: 

[Drapes, Fan, Sconces, Bookcase, Dresser] 

That's all I've got, folks. Just lots of ideas, dreams, wish lists, and to-do lists. Oh, I have a cute dog and super-cool husband too. I hope you have a lovely Tuesday! 

Current State/ Future State: Living Room

At work I find myself thinking about the "current state" versus the "future state" of various topics. Naturally, it's difficult for me to just abandon this way of thinking outside of work; oftentimes, I end up thinking the same way about projects around our house. I thought you might be interested in seeing the Current State and (hopefully) Future State of our living room. 

The good news: The Future state only involves five new items:

[Floor Lamp, Tulip Table, Table Lamp, Draper Table, Ceiling Light] 

Items we already own (Current State):

[Chaise, Coffee table, Ottoman, Sofa, Similar Mirrors, Pillows]

Now I just need to develop a business case as to why we should purchase the last few items- created in PowerPoint. Then it will really feel like another day at the office!
