Catalogues are the root of all evil

The Shades of Light catalogue came last week, and as usual it did not disappoint!!! I've spent the last week daydreaming of all the lights I'd like to purchase for our new home. I don't have too many complaints about our house, but the light fixtures are certainly one of them. If Mr. Frankel woke up tomorrow and decided this whole saving money thing was for the birds I would purchase the following:

I have had shoes on the brain lately. I'm going to blame Luca for this one; she ate the rabbit fur off my Tory Burch snow boots that I recently bought off ebay. My daughter is a barbarian. These are some of the shoes I'd like to purchase to help me forgot about the pair that Miss Luca ruined.... **I  already purchased the center boots two weeks ago and LOVE them!!!

... the "Outlandish Birthday Registry" that is. I have wanted a persian rug forEVER. I've been talking  bothering Mr. Frankel about getting one for over a year when I started noticing them pop up in kitchens in all the shelter magazines. 

AND my Favorite: 

One of the homes we're considering right now has a kitchen with no island. Sounds like the perfect place for a perisan rug to me. All of these rugs are from eSaleRugs; did I mention everything is an additional 25% off for the next few days?!

I love Williams-Sonoma Home, but they are 100% out of my price range right now. That doesn't stop me, however, from perusing their website on a weekly basis. Right now they're having a sale, and the Mason Glass Top Desk is one of the items marked down. I'm quite certain this is the most beautiful desk I've ever seen, and it's only $795 (marked down from $1150), but we have a brand new desk, so I have no chance of finagling my way into owning one right now. Someday- MAYBE!
