The most recent issue of Matchbook Mag launched yesterday, and I must say, it's my favorite issue thus far! It's full of great articles, but my favorite was the home of Alixe Laughlin, Marketing Director of Quadrille Couture (sounds like a fun job, right?).
Color and pattern explosion!! I'm not sure I'm gutsy enough to attempt this type of look on my own, but I do love this room! I like the idea of a desk in the living room. This is something we might need to do in our next home if there's no designated "office".
Did I mention Alixe is only 23; can you say "rockstar"???
Notice the Roy Lichtenstein print? Love it! I'm fighting the urge to pull out my Art History textbooks right now. Beautiful lucite lamps, and I'm loving the credenza. Notice the Quadrille tote bag on the right; I'm going to try to sell Christopher on letting me buy one.... fingers crossed.
Another Quadrille tote! Must-have!!!
I also loved the feature on Sugar Paper. I'm a sucker for paper products. I essentially collect notebooks and stationery; I remember as a little girl it always made me sad to write a letter to someone because I didn't want to part with my notecards. I actually still have my favorite notecards from fourth and fifth grade!!
Anyways, how cute is this print!?
If everyone followed this, I think we'd all be a lot happier. P.S. Love the julep vase and outfit!
Wow, I am totally jealous of Alexie's job and place. Love all the pattern and bright colors
ReplyDeleteI agree, I think it's the best one yet also! So many great pictures. I also loved Adore this time around, better than the rest!
