Table Setting of the Week

"Ingredients":
-Placemats: Kohl's ($2.99 each) *Is it just me, or at quick glance do they remind you of La Fiorentina?!
-Plates: T.J. Maxx
-Bowls: Kohl's
-Cutlery: Pottery Barn
-Tumblers, Wine Glasses: Pier 1
-Napkin Rings: West Elm
-Candle Holders: Wal-Mart
-Flower Arrangement: Kumquats and 2 Hydrangea flowers. Easy-Peasy!!!

One more thing: My bar cart has nothing to do with the table setting, I know, but I updated its contents recently, so I had to share!!

I am in LOVE with this little vase I picked up at Meijer! So cute!!

Table Setting of the Week

I'm getting really sick of my digital camera. These photos are C-R-A-P. My apologies. This table was so fun in real life, but the pictures don't do it justice. I am going to have to do some major convincing over the next few months (ahem, Mr. Frankel) to be able to buy a REAL camera.

Ingredients:
-Dinner Plate: Kate Spade
-Salad Plates: West Elm; Anthropologie
-Candle Holders: Wal-Mart
-Tortoise Tumblers: Pier 1
-Wine Glasses: Target
-Fabric "Tablecloth": LS Fabrics
-Flatware: Ebay and Pottery Barn

Table Setting of the Week

apologize in advance for my short post. I have a few pictures of another fictitious table setting for you. I realized after I put everything away that I hadn't placed glassware on the table. Let's just imagine that the reason is because someone is still mixing drinks on my fabulous, new faux bamboo bar cart. Sound good?I

"Ingredients":

-Placemats: Pier 1 (on clearance for $2.00 I believe)
-Dinner Plates (they're all black if you can't see them): Pottery Barn Outlet
-Salad Plates: Home Goods
-Napkins: West Elm and Wal-Mart
-Napkin Rings: Pier 1
-Flatware: Ebay
-Candle Holders and Candles: Wal-Mart
-Brass Julep Cup: Jamali Garden

Hope your week is off to a good start!!!

Table Setting of the Week

It's no secret that I love to set tables. While I wish I could tell you that my life is full of important tasks, and I don't have time to set fictitious tables, that is simply not the case.

I decided to play "dress up" with our kitchen table last night. Here's the result:

The crooked taper candle is killing me. UGH.

No guarantees that I will be able to pull off a table setting once a week EVERY week, but I'll do my best IF you, dear readers, like the idea. Thoughts???

For anyone interested in the "ingredients" for this tablescape:
-Dinner Plates: TJ Maxx
-Salad Plates: Anthropologie
-Napkins: Wal-Mart
-Napkin Rings: West Elm
-Taper Candles and Holder: Wal-Mart
-Flowers: Wal-Mart (50% off after V-Day)
-Water Glasses: Pottery Barn
-Wine Glasses: Pier 1
-Votive Candles: Pottery Barn
-Mother of Pearl Flatware: Pottery Barn

So what are your thoughts on this series??? *Keep in mind, I only have so many different plates, etc., so I can't do it long term anyways!!! :)

XOXO,

Kelly
