I realized yesterday that aside from my rug I haven't shared the rest of my "birthday loot".... 

*What's the pink fringe, you wonder? It's the tail to a GERONIMO balloon. I'm waiting to blow it up until next weekend for my sister's baby shower so that other people can enjoy it as well!

I hope you have a great Friday! Mr. Frankel and I are heading to Indianapolis today to look at homes. *It should be noted that nearly every single option I've posted has sold. Only two of them are left, so we'll see what happens.

Today is my 26th birthday!  Mr. Frankel has finals next week, so we will wait to celebrate until after he's finished. I did, however, get my gift from him:

I LOVE it and Luca does too obviously! The colors are amazing- pinks, reds, oranges and navy. Apparently I have one more surprise coming later this week..... the suspense is killing me. ;) 

*I'm turning off the comments today; I don't want people to think I'm fishing for birthday wishes! Have a great July 6th. It's one of my favorite days of the year you know.... 

Staycation

I'm off until Wednesday. Normally my family spends Independence day in Florida, but selling your house is so stinking expensive- so staycation it is!

... the "Outlandish Birthday Registry" that is. I have wanted a persian rug forEVER. I've been talking  bothering Mr. Frankel about getting one for over a year when I started noticing them pop up in kitchens in all the shelter magazines. 

AND my Favorite: 

One of the homes we're considering right now has a kitchen with no island. Sounds like the perfect place for a perisan rug to me. All of these rugs are from eSaleRugs; did I mention everything is an additional 25% off for the next few days?!

Who makes this fabric??

Earlier today I mentioned that I wanted two of the Courbe ottomans from Ballard Designs for my birthday. I got the idea from this image:

I've saved this image for over a year! I love the layout of the room and the fabric on the ottomans is gorgeous! If it was a Ballard fabric they no longer make it, but Ballard does allow you to send in a fabric of your choice. I have a few other ideas of fabric I would use, but if I could find this fabric or something similar that would be my top choice. To be clear, I have no official plans to buy these ottomans, but chances are we will be moving into a smaller home and small, functional pieces of furniture like this would come in handy if we have to sell some of our bigger pieces.
