House Hunting: Option 9

Are you sick of seeing the homes we're considering in Indy yet?!! Too bad; besides- she's a beauty, Clark!!! Hopefully we'll make an offer on one of these pretties this weekend and all this we-don't-have-a-home-to-move-to-next-month silliness will come to an end!! 

This home is adorable; it doesn't hurt that it's decorated really well too! :)

Please note: "Option" is in quotation marks because this home is about 100k more than what we'd like to spend, so it's not actually an option. It is, however, absolutely gorgeous, so I decided to share it with all of you. House hunting is a dangerous thing; I am continually surrounded by tempting homes!!!! 

I'm reminded of the SATC movie right now. I'd pull a Carrie Bradshaw and open the door saying, "Hello. We live here." 

All sorts of lovely.

Kitchen is small, but very well done! 

Hmmm... I have an idea. Maybe I could increase the price of our home by 100K when we list it and hope that some idiot really intelligent individual buys it. It's worth a shot, no??

House Hunting: Option 6

I'm finding lots of great options this week! I like this little Cape Cod home quite a bit!! 

Family room/Den:

I think a new paint color on the walls and built-ins would really freshen up this room!! 

The kitchen certainly has potential. While it doesn't NEED anything done to it, I'd opt for installing a subway tile backsplash, changing out the sink for a single bowl, new window shade, maybe new hardware, and some sort of pendant light:

The backyard is nice. I've always been more of a patio girl, but at least the deck is new!

House Hunting: Option 5

I'm definitely excited to see this house in person (hopefully in two weeks when I'm back in Indianapolis). The pictures are pretty crappy, but the home is still all sorts of lovely!

I think I'd end up just living outside.  The space needs some twinkly lights (see below), and it's ready to go!

Kitchen isn't awful. Bright shining star: the SUB ZERO refrigerator. 

 

At first I was all excited thinking it had a glass door, but I'm pretty sure it's just black. 

I'd spend a lot of time in this room. I LOVE the paneled ceiling. 

Now if they'd just drop the home 25k so it was more within our price range (and we sold our not-even-listed-yet-home) we'd be all set!!!!
