I've been noticing a LOT of lovely breakfast nooks lately. While it's certainly not a new concept, I love the idea of a banquet (or in the case of some of the photos below, a settee) as seating.
The windows are amazing in all these photos; I would LOVE to eat next to a huge, sunny window! We still have yet to eat a single meal in our dining room EVER. I'm more and more convinced that if we build our next house I might just leave a dining room off the blueprints. I'd still want a few areas for our family to eat meals together, but I have yet to find a reason to have a dining room (except to store our china that I also rarely use).
I would be delighted to have breakfast in any one of these little nooks!
