Impromptu Masquerade??

This is the first year out of the last three that I haven't hosted a Halloween party. Kind of a bummer because I LOVE Halloween. I didn't even decorate this year, folks, and I have some awesome Halloween decorations. I could always throw a Halloween party together last minute (i.e. Luca and I could wear some costumes and I could drink a glass of wine while watching Vampire Diaries). 

I was on Pottery Barn's website last night looking at their Halloween Party ideas and am definitely a little bummed about Halloween weekend this year. Next year, I WILL have a party. I just need to make some friends in Indianapolis between now and then! 

Did I mention that I purchased this mask?? My sister and I have wanted to have a masquerade party for quite some time, so I bought this mask for whenever we get around to planning it. She just had a baby though, so I'm guessing a masquerade is the last thing on her mind (as it should be)!!!

I'm actually seriously considering having a little Halloween "party" with Luca tonight. I can't decide if it would be fun or just sad/pathetic. I'm guessing a little bit of both. I'll just have a big glass of wine either way.... ;) It might be worth it just so I can see the look on my husband's face when he gets home from school tonight and sees me wearing this mask....
