In May 2010 Southern Living featured the home of Barbara Cosgrove, a lamp designer living in Kansas City. Images via Southern Living:
I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately, but I love the way Cosgrove mixed different chairs in the same color upholstery for her dining area; I also love the way she used chairs that would normally be reserved for a living space at her dining table!
Grouping of Artwork from local artists in her area.
Of course a lamp designer is going to have great lighting in her home..
Silver Gourd Lamp
White Gourd lamp
Gaga for gourds like I am??? How about a table too?
Bamboo Lamps; Reminds me of one from the Gallery Hop!
Who doesn't love an ugly, little pair of foo dogs!?!
Reminds me of my lovely artichoke vase from HomeGoods!
Non-Illumination Items Include:
I've been looking for a clock or a small piece of artwork for above our kitchen sink. This would fit the bill, but it just so happens to cost a few too many bills... :)
I'm beginning to think every home should have antlers of some sort. ;)
What do you think of Cosgrove's designs??
XOXO,
Kelly
I especially love the art on the wall!
ReplyDeleteThe lamps are great, unfortunately when we were re-doing our house my husband had some inappropriate choice words to share about gourd lamps or lamps that appear to be balls stacked on one another. Juvenile I know, but now that's all I can ever think of :)
