House Hunting: Option 4

I LOVE the exterior of this home (especially the copper canopy). I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, but something about the exterior seems whimsical, almost fairy tale-like, to me. Am I losing it???

I'm not overly fond of the kitchen, but I am aware that I've become a total kitchen snob.  I suppose on the bright side it's newly remodeled, which only means there's no way to justify altering it. The backsplash is just not me though- at all!!!

I've died and gone to built-in bookcase heaven (what, you didn't know that existed...)!!! This is a little upstairs reading nook. I'm dying to style those bookshelves. Even if I don't buy this home I'm going to write the people that do a letter and ask them if I could style their bookshelves (absolutely free, of course).

Love the pained-ish brick.

So what do you think? How does this compare to #3???

  3. It is such a great home with a lot of potential! The backsplash in the kitchen could easily be replaced with something to your liking.

  4. I really like this house too. The built in bookshelves (laughing because ours look just like this at my husband's insistence), the French doors, the copper cupola, or whatever that's called. They're all wonderful. And the kitchen could be painted down the line with tile replacement. Although, I'm doing that now, and let me tell you, it's no picnic! I vote for this one!
