Weekend snippets

My weekend included:
Lots of dishes. Somehow whenever I'm loading dishes the only comfortable place for Luca throughout the entire house is underneath the dishwasher.

Friday night was date night. It was a disaster. I won't tell you the entire, pathetic story, but there were dog problems and a small (human) esophagus involved. After trying to salvage date night for about an hour, we finally took our food to go and decided to try again next week. At least I had fun wearing my sequin shirt!

On Saturday we drove home to my parents' house. We haven't been there in months! My brother and his family were in town from CT, so it was the first time my entire immediate family has been together in over two years.

Everyone spent lots of time passing around the little one with the tiny toes.

They looked edible. I was tempted to have a nibble.

My niece, Sienna, did my hair. Lord knows I need all the help I can get.

I love this man. I also love pretending to be a little family. We look fairly convincing.

The pretty new momma. Can I just tell you she looks amazing already?! Sometimes I think Tory looks a little like Kourtney Kardashian. Does anyone see what I'm seeing?

Official Krugh family photo 2011. I don't think we've had a family photo since the 90s. That's what happens when you have a Brady-bunched-sized immediate family, and I love it.

On Sunday Mr. Frankel hit the books. I thought about tying him up with all his dirty socks, holding him hostage, and forcing him to pay attention to me. Sunday has become law-school day; I don't like it so much. I hate it when he won't play with me.

Overall, though, our weekend pretty much looked like this. Beautiful.
