We still have a couple of weeks before we pack up and move, but I am already thinking about my closet at our new home. The master bedroom has two small closets on either side of the bed and one larger closet between the bedroom at bathroom. Christopher is graciously allowing me to have the walk-in all to myself. The walk-in closet is NOTHING special, but it's larger than any closet I've had in a long time!
It's probably this size, just wider and less narrow:
I did take a photo of the built-in shelves so that I could start collecting ideas for the best way to utilize them:
I would love to wallpaper the closet with something really fun, but I think I'll just paint for now. We have a few cans of Restoration Hardware's slate left, and I think it'd look great in here!
I will, however, most likely employ the idea below:
How easy would it be to put cork board on the back of one of those shelves? Remember when I wrote about creating an "outfit inspiration" board? I'm totally doing this!!! I just need to find some fun pins for the corkboard. Any suggestions?
As for some artwork:
I am going to buy a few frames from Ikea and frame a few of my favorite shopping bags!
I'm also going to swap out the ceiling light. I'm taking a few of my chandeliers with me to our next home, so I'll likely just use one of those. I can't wait to show you the end result!!
Cute they are!
