Weekend snippets

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I'm coming off a cold, so I was just glad to finally start feeling better. Fortunately, we still had a GREAT weekend!!! Saturday morning we met some friends for breakfast. Christopher stopped to play tug-of-war with Luca on our way out the door.

Luca loves her Elphie (elephant)

Luca's very competitive, but so is Christopher.

Christopher threw Elphie in the air, and Luca went after her...

For breakfast I ordered tacos....

...and Christopher ordered everything else on the menu.

In the afternoon we took a walk in a neighborhood two blocks from ours....

...and walked passed a house that we looked at early on in our house-hunting process. It's still for sale- dare I say TOO EXPENSIVE?!

We were invited to a Halloween party last minute, and I had to throw our costumes together quickly, so I ran into Macy's and fell in love with Coach's holiday decorations.

We both went as Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation:
*Dad, you were right, I did need the cheap beer can and dryer hose.

I was shocked at how few people have seen Christmas Vacation. Costumes were a semi-flop, but at least I was comfortable!!

On Sunday night we made chicken noodles, mashed potatoes, and green beans. YUMMMM!!!!

  5. I LOVE the cousin Eddie costumes!! My family and I watch that movie every year around Christmas - classic! And that house you posted is gorgeous. If it's still up for sale then you are right, it is probably too expensive.
