Weekend snippets

The tree went up. A little early, I know, but it was either Saturday or December 15th.

Dinner with friends Saturday night.

I got to be the guinea pig while my friend practiced her photography skills. Thank goodness I'm not super awkward in front of the camera or anything. **Jenny, why do I look like an Oompa Loompa in this photo?!?

Getting ready for our unofficial family photos. I wanted to straighten Luca's hair. It didn't go over well; she's a tomboy, you know.

Our best attempt at getting family photos for our Christmas card. Well, look at that; we're both wearing tartan plaid. Must be a coincidence. It's not as if I'm obsessed or anything.

I rewarded Mr. Frankel for his good behavior for putting up with my crazy photo antics with Indian food immediately following our little photo shoot. *Mr. Frankel, I know I wasn't supposed to post this photo, but it's too cute to let i-photo keep it all to itself. You understand?

Sunday afternoon looked like this.  It was a typical Twilight movie: pretty bad at parts. Oh how I love Twilight. Forever.

I hope your weekend was just as fun! I'm off to do some laundry, cleaning, and possibly a little shopping; I'm a stay-at-home mom for the next few days for Miss Luca Bear. Lord, help both of us.
